Habitat:
Emergant palm of moist rainforest, in southern La Grande-Terre, New Caledonia.

Description:
A medium sized emergant feather palm to about 15m, with very prominant stilt roots, extending up to nearly 2m from the ground.

General:

Culture:
Very rarely seen in cultivation, and be prepared for an extremely slow growing plant if lucky enough to get one.
Would like moist, shady, sheltered conditions.
