Palms   Calyptrocalyx forbesii

Distribution & Habitat: New Guinea Rainforest Description: A small, attractive understory palm, with pinnate leaves, and evenly spaced leaflets. The new leaf can be quite red. Culture: Prefers a warm, sheltered and moist position, but it is one of the more cold tolerant of the Calytrocalyx.
