Argentina where it is extremely rare. Probable also in Eastern Paraguay.Description:
Very small palm with clustered habit, subterranean stem and proportionaly long grasslike leaves. Narrow leaflets. Growing under full sun. No more than 20 palms were seen. It is difficult to see because it is similar to the grass around. Short spathe and inflorescence. Pictures show a mature palm with dried infrutescence and more of 15 cluster trunks.
Culture:
Sunny, well drained position.
