Palms   Butia sp. "Paraguay II"

Common Names: None Distribution & Habitat: Grows in central-east Paraguay, near to the Amambay mountains, in pure fine white sand. Description: Small to medium sized solitary palm without rigid leaves and long petioles. Grows in large stands. Culture: Sunny, sandy, well drained position. Drought and frost resistant.
