Habitat:
Wet rainforest on rocky soils, on Mt. Bouo in the Mt. Koghi massif, south-east New Caledonia.

Description:
Medium to large solitary palm to 18m.

General:
A very newly discovered palm, so still fairly rare.

Culture:
Probably as for B. hapala and B. vieillardii
