Distribution:
The Fijian Islands of Taveuni (the main population), and Vanu Levu.

Habitat:
On steep slopes in very wet rainforest (@10m of rain per year).

Description:
A small solitary feather palm, to about 4m high, creamy white fowers, and bright crimson seeds.

General:
Very closely related to Cyphosperma .

Culture:
Warm, sheltered and moist. Very tropical in its requirements.
