Distribution & Habitat:
Rainforest in the Usambara Mountains, north-eastern Zaire.

Description:
A small clumping cycad to about 1m tall, and up to 3 trunks. Leaves semi-erect to about 2m long. Very similar in appearance to E. hildebrandtii .

Culture:
Sunny, moist, but well drained position. Frost sensitive.
