Distribution:
Mt Mruwere, Mozambique, where a single colony was discovered.

Habitat:
Rocky, hillside.

Description:
A medium-sized, suckering cyacd with a trunk to about 1.5 tall, and up to 4 stems. Leaves are light green, and up to 1.5m long.

General:
This plant is very rare. It was discovered in 1949, described in 1969, and was extinct in its habitat by 1975, due to poachers.

Culture:
Sunny, moist, but well drained position. Dislikes frost. Very difficult to get to cone.
