Conservation Status:
Endangered.

Distribution & Habitat:
They are endemic to a single rocky hill in Eastern province in Kenya.

Description:
A medium to large cycad, with trunks to 8 metres (25 feet) long, with long green, leathery leaves to 2 metres (6 feet) long, and leaflets up to 36 mm (1.5 inches) long.

Cultivation:
Likes a sunny, well drained position. Drought tolerant.
