Msinga Cycad

Distribution & Habitat:
One small area near Msinga, central KwaZulu-Natal, between altitudes of 900m and 1200m. It grows in short grassland on steep north-facing slopes, usually amongst boulders in scrub clumps, or occasionally on sandstone cliff faces, in full sun.

Description:
A medium sized clumping cycad to 3m, with 1.5m long, slightly arching, glossy green leaves.

Culture:
Sunny, very well drained position.
