Home


Habitat:
Sheltered, grassy slopes, between 1,000 and 1,400 m in altitude, in the Middleburg district of the Transvaal Province, South Africa. Hot and dry in summer, cold and very frosty in winter.

Description:
Large, clumping cycad to about 7m. New leaves have a silvery appearance due to very fine hairs covering them.

Culture:
Likes full sun, a very well drained position.
